Terms & Conditions
Last updated September 2026
These Terms & Conditions apply to purchases made through the Wallis Atelier website. By placing an order with Wallis Atelier, you agree to these terms.
Nothing in these Terms & Conditions excludes, restricts or modifies any rights or remedies you may have under the Australian Consumer Law.
-
All orders are subject to acceptance and product availability.
Please ensure that your contact details, delivery information, ring size and product selections are correct before placing your order.
You will receive an order confirmation after your order has been placed.
If you need to make a change to your order, please contact us as soon as possible. As many Wallis Atelier pieces are made to order, changes may not be possible once production has begun.
In the unlikely event that we are unable to fulfil your order, we will contact you and provide an appropriate resolution, which may include a refund.
-
Wallis Atelier pieces are made to order unless otherwise stated.
Please allow approximately 4–6 weeks for your piece to be completed before dispatch. Personalised or more complex pieces may require additional time.
Production and delivery timeframes are estimates. If there is a significant delay affecting your order, we will contact you.
-
All prices are displayed in Australian dollars (AUD) unless otherwise stated.
Wallis Atelier is not currently registered for GST, and GST is not included or charged on our prices.
Prices may change from time to time. Any price change will not affect an order that has already been accepted and paid for.
Payment is required at the time an order is placed unless otherwise agreed.
Any applicable delivery charges will be shown before your order is completed.
-
Wallis Atelier works with precious metals, diamonds and carefully selected gemstones.
Natural gemstones may have variations in colour, tone, inclusions and other characteristics. These variations are part of the individual character of natural stones and mean that each piece may be slightly different.
Wallis Atelier works with both natural and lab-grown diamonds depending on the design. The diamond type used in a piece will be specified on the individual product page.
Larger diamonds may be accompanied by an independent IGI grading report, where specified on the product page.
-
We make reasonable efforts to represent our jewellery accurately through photographs, descriptions and product information.
Colours and appearance may vary slightly depending on your screen and, in the case of natural gemstones, the individual stone.
As many Wallis Atelier pieces are made individually, subtle variations may occur between pieces.
These variations do not affect any rights you may have under Australian Consumer Law.
-
Customers are responsible for selecting their ring size when placing an order.
For the most accurate fit, we recommend having your finger professionally measured by a jeweller before ordering, particularly for wider or sculptural ring designs.
If you're unsure about sizing, please contact us before placing your order.
Some rings may be resized depending on the design, stone placement and adjustment required. Resizing is assessed individually and fees may apply.
-
Chapter and other personalised or customised pieces are created according to the selections made when ordering.
Please carefully check your ring size, metal, gemstones and other selections before completing your order.
Once production has begun, changes may not be possible.
Personalised, customised and Chapter pieces cannot be returned or exchanged for change of mind.
This does not affect your rights under Australian Consumer Law if there is a problem with the piece.
-
Orders will be sent to the delivery address provided when your order is placed.
Once your order has been dispatched, you will receive tracking information by email.
Delivery timeframes are estimates and may be affected by circumstances outside our reasonable control.
If you believe your order has been lost, damaged or incorrectly delivered, please contact us so that we can assist.
-
Eligible pieces may be returned or exchanged for change of mind within 14 days of delivery, subject to the conditions outlined in our Returns & Exchanges Policy.
Personalised, customised and Chapter pieces cannot be returned or exchanged for change of mind.
For hygiene reasons, earrings cannot be returned or exchanged for change of mind.
These exclusions relate only to our voluntary change-of-mind policy and do not limit your rights under Australian Consumer Law.
-
Our goods come with guarantees that cannot be excluded under the Australian Consumer Law.
If a piece is faulty, damaged or otherwise fails to meet a consumer guarantee, please contact us so that we can assess the issue.
Depending on the circumstances and your rights under Australian Consumer Law, you may be entitled to a repair, replacement, refund or another remedy.
Nothing in these Terms & Conditions excludes, restricts or modifies those rights.
-
Repairs and resizing requests are assessed individually.
Fees may apply for work required as a result of normal wear, accidental damage or a change in ring size.
Where an issue is covered by your rights under Australian Consumer Law, those rights will continue to apply.
-
Fine jewellery naturally develops signs of wear over time, including surface marks and scratches.
We recommend following the care guidance provided by Wallis Atelier and taking appropriate care when wearing and storing your jewellery.
Damage caused by misuse, accidents or inappropriate care may not constitute a fault with the product.
Nothing in this section limits your rights under Australian Consumer Law.
